FRENCH LEADER. Macron, the new French President, has
expelled two members of his party for anti-Israel and pro-BDS speeches. He should also condemn the several Muslim “No-Go Zones” in big cities where women
out walking are sexually assaulted, cases dismissed, and politicians do
nothing.
NETANYAHU
HONORED. Netanyahu is the first
non-African leader invited to speak to a convening of West African States. Last year Netanyahu made a historic tour of Uganda,
Kenya, Rwanda and Ethiopia. Bibi shared
Israeli expertise in security and other fields, and has made some new friends.
ISRAEL’S
CAPITAL. The U.S. Senate voted unanimously
that Jerusalem is the united capital of Jerusalem. We were disappointed when the President
postponed moving the embassy while “trying to restart peace talks.” He says the
question is not “if” but “when” the embassy will be moved. We hope so.
TOURISM SURGE. In April, 349,000 tourists visited Israel,
the highest ever for any month since 1948.
That was 40% over last year.
Leading in tourists were the U.S., Russia, France, the UK, Germany and
the Ukraine. (34,000 came through Jordan and Egypt.)
LEAKER EXPOSED. A Pakistani woman suspect behind major
security leaks in Congress has fled to her home country with her husband and
his two brothers, her Iman and relatives.
The family worked for Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and the DNC. One worked for DNC’s Schultz since 2005.
GREAT CHOICE. Nikki Haley, President Trump’s UN Rep. , gave an ultimatum to the UN
Human Rights Council: “Stop your obsession
with condemning Israel and start addressing real human rights problems,
violence to women and human trafficking, OR the US will quit this Council.”
Bravo!
